NVIDIA Launches Open Synthetic Data Generation Pipeline for Training Large Language Models

NVIDIA has launched Nemotron-4 340B, an open-source pipeline for generating high-quality synthetic data to train large language models (LLMs).

This tool includes Base, Instruct, and Reward models, designed to create and refine synthetic data for industries like healthcare, finance, and retail.

Customizable via the NeMo framework and optimized with TensorRT-LLM, Nemotron-4 340B ensures efficient large-scale deployment.

Available on Hugging Face and soon as an NVIDIA NIM microservice, it offers developers a scalable solution for creating diverse, high-quality datasets for AI applications.

IOC to Use AI for Erasing Abusive Posts at Paris 2024 Olympics

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced it will deploy AI to block and erase abusive posts aimed at athletes and officials during the Paris Olympics in 2024.

This initiative aims to protect the 15,000 participants from online harassment. The AI tool will monitor social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, automatically removing abusive content.

This service will cover all types of abuse and be available to all accredited athletes, entourage members, and technical officials.
