New AirPods May Have Cameras

Apple is reportedly developing new AirPods with infrared cameras to enhance spatial audio and improve integration with the Vision Pro headset, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

These cameras, similar to those used in iPhone's Face ID, will detect head movements and environmental changes to dynamically adjust audio.

They may enable advanced gesture controls for a more immersive experience.

Mass production is expected to begin in 2026.

110 New Languages Coming to Google Translate

Google Translate is adding 110 new languages, reaching over 614 million speakers worldwide, about 8% of the global population.

This is the largest expansion in its history. The new languages include major ones like Cantonese and smaller indigenous languages such as Manx.

About a quarter are from Africa, marking the largest expansion of African language support to date.

This expansion is part of Google's 1,000 Languages Initiative.
