ChatGPT Astra and Claude Fable can do horrible things
In a disturbing video that surfaced online over the weekend, ChatGPT Astra attempted harmful action over 90% of the time it was asked to.
It was okay stabbing a human-like figure
Heat compressed gas was okay in its books
Toxic fumes isn't out of the question
Fable 5.1 refused such actions more often, but it doesn't make the situation any lighter.
Maybe Bernie Sanders wasn't over exaggerating the risks of AI over the last couple of months.

Anthropic puts more into biology
Adding more reasons for skeptics to get paranoid, Anthropic started a biology lab in the Bay Area to expand its physical experiments.
AI has been successful in the medical field so far. Pushing treatments that weren't even an option two years ago. But makes some people wonder, what if something goes wrong?
A spokesperson said it's not for drug discovery, and refused to comment further. We'll have to wait to see what this truly is about.
Trump Announces Creation of “AI Force”
President Donald Trump declared on Saturday that he will establish a new “AI Force” modeled on the Space Force and appoint an AI czar to oversee the technology’s development.
The announcement came via Truth Social as calls for stronger AI regulations intensify across industry and government.
The AI Force will monitor the sector for “BAD” behavior using existing criminal and civil laws rather than imposing new regulations.
Trump emphasized that the government will “not in any way hinder or stifle” AI growth, instead choosing to “cherish it, help it, and watch over it.”
Only “High I.Q. individuals” need apply for the AI czar role, which he said will be announced “in the near future.”
He described AI as the next Industrial Revolution that could represent up to 25% of U.S. GDP and stressed the need to maintain American leadership over China.
Trump’s proposal leaves many operational details unclear, including the Force’s exact structure and placement within the federal government.
Nvidia’s CEO dismisses AI concerns
Seeing all of this drama happening, Nvidia’s CEO is still not convinced we should slowdown AI development. Musk shares support and says that Artificial Intelligence will multiply the United States’ GDP.
Looks like AI is great when you’re making money out of it. Only time will tell if the fear-mongering is driven by the IPO to raise valuations, or for valid reasons.
